Varsity Softball Shuts Out Charlestown 10-0 in Last Home Game of Season

Emma Summers threw a complete game shutout on Friday leading Eagles to a 10-0 win over Charlestown to end the regular season of game play.  She went six innings allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out 13 and walking one. Taylor Poling and Sara Fishel led a rally in the fourth inning. Eagles collected 10 hits.

Boys’ Track Finishes 5th at Bloomington Sectional

The boys’ track team finished 5th on Thursday night at the Bloomington Sectional.  The Eagles came away with two championships on the night.  The 4×800 relay team of Isaiah Keefauver, Marino Dolph, Jackson McPheeters, and Wyatt Wyman clocked a season-best time of 8:00.16.  Wyman also won the 800 meter run with a time of 1:56.36. 

Brown County Boys Win Quadrangular Meet

The Brown County Boys’ track team won their last meet of the season prior to the Western Indiana Conference meet on May, 10.  On Thursday, May 3, the Eagles hosted Indian Creek, Hauser, and Southwestern.  The Eagles came out on top with several strong performances and personal records.  The following Eagles finished first:  The 4×800 team of

College Signings for Wyatt Wyman and Hallee Miller

Congratulations to Wyatt Wyman for signing with Indiana State to participate in their cross country and track teams. Congratulations to Hallee Miller for signing with IU Southeast to play on their tennis team.

Boys’ Track Finishes 3rd at WIC

The boys’ track team finished 3rd at the WIC meet on Thursday night.  Edgewood took the team title followed by Northview.  The Eagles were led by a 1st place finish from their 4×800 relay team of Jackson McPheeters, Curtis Higgins, Marino Dolph, and Wyatt Wyman.  Other top 5 finishes  included Wyman in the 1600 (2nd), McPheeters
