Eagles News · Eagle Track and Field Competes at Indoor State


Several members of the Eagle track and field program competed at the indoor track and field state meet at Indiana University on Saturday.  Freshman, Christy Sebastian finished 23rd in the 60 meter dash, clocking a time of 8.43.  Senior Marino Dolph competed in the three events on the day.  His first was the 3200 where he also finished 23rd with a 10:39.52.  The Eagles had two qualifying relays that competed Saturday.  The boys’ DMR ran a season-best time of 11:39.79 which was good enough for 16th place.  Members of that squad included Dolph, Jackson McPheeters, Aidan Burt, and Jason Stratton.   The Eagles finished the night with a team in the 4×400 meter relay, finishing 24th.  Dolph, McPheeters, Burt, and Cameron Fox ran on that relay.  The Eagles will have a week of preparation before they begin the outdoor season April 2nd at Bloomington North.
