Several Eagle track athletes on both the girls’ and boys’ teams have received All-Area recognition by the Herald Times in Bloomington. Wyatt Wyman led the way as he and Edgewood standout, Austin Haskett, were named Co-Track Athletes of the Year for the boys’ side. Wyman finished his career as a three-time state 4×8 qualifier, two-time 800 qualifier, and was a member of the 4×4 qualifying relay this past season. He also qualified for the state finals in cross country last fall. Vivien Crimmins was named to the All-Area first team. Crimmins was a state qualifier in the 100 meter hurdles earlier this month. Two Eagles made the second team: Kathleen McCann and Jackson McPheeters. Like Wyman, McPheeters competed in three events at the state meet. Also receiving honorable-mention recognition were Marino Dolph and Isaiah Keefauver.
