Boys Middle School Wrestling, Boys Varsity Wrestling · Eagles finish second, winning four out of five duels!

The Eagles opened their season winning four out of their five duels at the Batesville Invitational. Several wrestlers including freshmen David Tucker, sophomore Bryce Denton, junior Levi Mullins, and seniors Job Lawson and Evan Bullock finished the day undefeated at 5-0. For other wrestlers including Kenny Eason, Ben Rygiel, Christian Fouts, and Cameron King, this was their first time on the mat as an Eagle. Another new addition to the team is Matthew Duncan, who unfortunately injured his hand early in the season, but was still able to pick up a few forfeits for the team. Although some were disappointed by their results, the team left the meet in high spirits and ready to take on their next challenge: the Edgewood Invitational. Their next meet will be on 11-26 and wrestling is scheduled to begin at 9. The team would love to see you in the stands.
